Join Surfrider Foundation Vancouver and the Vancouver Maritime Museum for an evening of conversation and education featuring a screening of X Trillion, directed by Eleanor Church.

The film follows a crew of 14 women, led by ocean advocate Emily Penn, as they sail through the densest accumulation of ocean plastic on the planet. The team of scientists, filmmakers, economists, engineers, teachers, designers, and creators battled high seas and storms to carry out cutting-edge microplastics research and bring attention to the extent of the plastic pollution crisis.

Tickets are available by donation (minimum donation $5). Popcorn and beverages will be available for purchase. Capacity is limited to 55 guests, so advance registration is encouraged.
